Alexander Felber
Technical Assistant
After his training at the Helmholtz Center Munich, Alexander moved to the MPIB in 2013 and has been working as a biological-technical assistant ever since, most of the time in the Department of Molecular Medicine, where his area of expertise ranges from in vitro cell culture to molecular biology, from mouse colony management to histological work. Being new to the field of totipotency research since 2024, he is now looking forward to learning new techniques. In private, he is interested in martial arts as a broad sport and has dived into many areas, from Olympic archery over various types of self-defense to armed combat (HEMA). He discovered his passion for model making - from tiny fantasy/sci-fi miniatures to real objects/vehicles - very late in life, but pursues it with no less devotion.
