Renate Gautsch

Technical Assistant, NGS Core Facility

After finishing her 2-years apprenticeship at the Chemieschule in Munich, Renate joined the MPIB in 1983. She did molecular and cell biology in different labs to further studies in hemoglobin (Prof. Braunitzer), cancer research (Prof. Axel Ullrich) and the Golgi apparatus (Asst. Prof. Julia von Blume). Since 2019 she works in the NGS facility which is part of the Tachibana lab and she is very happy to support all the different users.
