Taisha obtained her Bachelors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with the Dean’s Award from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Later, she was selected for the Physical Biology of Cells and Cell Interactions (PBioC) master’s program at the Goethe University Frankfurt with Goethe Goes Global Fellowship. During her master’s, Taisha carried out internships at Ernst Stelzer Lab (BMLS-Frankfurt) and Didier Stanier Lab (MPI for Heart and Lung Research). Later, she completed her master’s thesis work with the Ellenberg lab at EMBL-Heidelberg. Taisha joined the lab in the fall of 2021 as a PhD student under the co-supervision of Ralf Jungmann. Taisha is studying nucleosome organization and pioneer transcription factor occupancy using novel super-resolution microscopy methods. Her hobbies include photography, dancing, bouldering and painting.
