Renate Hornberger is a chemical technical assistant who joined the MPIB in 1978. She is characterized by her expertise, which she has developed over many years at the institute. During her time at MPI, she has worked in several departments, with Prof. Sänger, Prof. Ullrich and several junior groups before joining the Tachibana Group in 2019. Renate enjoys her work in the lab and finds joy in working with the new generation of scientists. Renate likes in her free time walking her dog, cooking, going to the cinema and reading books.
