Lab manager

After completing his vocational training as a biological-technical assistant, he joined the MPIB in 1992. Initially working exclusively as a BTA, other tasks were added over time, such as occupational safety, radiation protection and the general lab organization. In 2019, he moved to the Totipotency Lab, where he contributed his experience in setting up a laboratory and continued his work in a new scientific field. As lab manager, he assists with all tasks, such as budget planning and purchasing, maintenance and servicing, safety instructions and the general lab organization. He volunteers in being a first aider and fire protection assistant for the MPIB.
